Paneer Paratha

Ingredients :

For the Stuffing:

Paneer - 2 Cup shredded

Onion - ½ finely chopped

Cilantro - ¼ Cup finely chopped

Salt - As per taste

Chillie Powder - ½ Tea spoon

Garam Masala - 1 Tea spoon

Green Chillies - 2-3 finely chopped (You can avoid if small kids are eating)

For the Dough

All Purpose Flour - 1 Cup (I prefer the available at Indian Stores)

Wheat Flour - ½ Cup

Water - as needed to make dough

Oil - 1 Tablespoon

Oil - To fry Paratha

How to Make :

Mix the stuffing ingredients just before making parathas.

Take all purpose flour, wheat flour and oil. Add water to make smooth consistency dough. Keep kneading the dough until it becomes little elastic. Add more oil if necessary. Once the dough is ready, cover the dough with wet kitchen towel.

Make the stuffing balls of around 1½ inch thinness. Make small balls of the maida dough. (Approx. ½ inch thinness).

Roll out a small puri with the dough and put a stuffing in the center and seal up the stuffing. Use dry all purpose flour  to roll out the paratha. You can make medium size paratha of thicker size. Fry the paneer pratha on a griddle roasting on both sides. Apply oil on both sides while frying.

Serve Panner Paratha with curd, pickle, gree chutney or tomato sauce as per your liking.
