The name Madras Lentils is misleading. The taste of this lentils and beans curry reminded me nothing of the Madras flavors. Having said that, this Lentils preparation reminds me more of "Maakhi Daal'. The taste is awesome. The consistency is little on the thicker side. I added a little water when heating in a pot. These are available at Costco in packets of 4. The contents of one packet are sufficient for two. If you have guests coming over, pour out all the four packets, add a little water according to the desired consistency needed and heat in a pot. Serve it as your own creation.
