Housefull - this movie brings us a new category to slot a movie into... Dee gives this movie a sideways thumb.
Sajid Khan's last movie Heyy Babyy was a box office hit, but for me it was collosal waste of time. That movie was crass, unimaginative and disappointing. But lets not forget it was a box office hit.
The same goes for Housefull. I presume that in Heyy Babyy style it will be a brainless comedy - heavy on drama, slapstick humor and glamour. The story itself is telling. Akshay playing Arush is supposedly the unluckiest man in the world! Being jinxed he believes his bad luck can vanish only if he finds true love! really now....so in his quest to find true love he ends up having 3 wives!! Is it even legal??
Deepika, Lara and Jiah play the wives who all end up living in the same house not knowing they are married to the same person.. Well if this doesnt convince you about what I am talking then nothing will!
I am such a loyal fan of Shankar-Ehsan-Loy that I would give a hear to their music whatever be the movie. The music doesn't disappoint and to tell you the truth I have fallen in love with the song 'Papa jaag jayega'. Its a silly song but has foot tapping music.
This movie will rule the box office, and audience will lap it up. But if you are the thinking type this movie is not meant for you.
Housefull -- can almost imagine the director calling us "hows-u-fools?"
