Tip 4 of 101 :  Plain old Peanuts

Who doesn't love peanuts? And kids especially love the ones that are lightly salted. When eaten in measured quantity, peanuts a wonderful snack that can be taken anywhere the kids want to go. To make it fancy, pack them up in cones made from colorful paper.

Tip 3 of 101 :  Peanut Butter - Banana - Chocolate Tower

Kids (and adults) with a sweet tooth, especially those that love chocolate will adore this snack. It mixes sweet and salt, while including healthy ingredients like banana and peanut butter. Take a salty cracker like Ritz, spread a generous layer of organic peanut butter, place a tall slice of banana and lighlty drizzle chocolate sauce/fudge on top. Enjoy!

Tip 2 of 101 :  Dates / Khajoor

Dates are a great way to indulge kids with "sweet tooth". Remove the pits from the dates and pack a couple of them in your child's snack box. They are a great source of potassium and fiber.

Tip 1 of 101 :  Whole milk toddler yogurt

Whole milk toddler yogurt is not just for toddlers. This is good for your older kids and for you too. At only 120 cal, it has only 14g sugar, 5g proteins and 4g fat. To put the numbers in perspective, a lot of so called low fat yogurts have as much as 23g sugar. The fat keeps you full longer than the sugar loaded low fat versions. It tastes very good too, I love the vanilla flavor, it almost tastes like "Mishti Dhai".
